Citizens Bank of Lafayette is a financial institution based in Lafayette, Tennessee, with a history dating back to its establishment on July 1, 1909, as the Bank of Celina. The bank underwent several name changes and relocations over the years. In 1970, the main office was moved to Celina, Tennessee. On June 1, 1987, the bank acquired Citizen's Bank in Lafayette and subsequently changed its name to Citizens Bank of Lafayette. The main office was relocated to 201 West Locust Street in Lafayette on the same date. In 1998, the bank moved its main office again to 400 Highway 52 Bypass West in Lafayette. I use this branch because the main branch has some snobbish employees. Tammy at this branch is the greatest. Their tellers are also great. At the main branch, when u walk in the door, the lady that sits at the first desk on the right is hateful and will judge you right to your face. Good people very helpful however the bank its self has such ignorant fraud policy my card gets turned off for basic purchase's I make at gas stations or concerts etc. I don't do online or anything crazy but they still shut it off and give no kind of notification or anything so here it is 6 at night day before thanksgiving and i cant get MY money and its the third time and it is ridiculous.
