History Of Citizens Bank
Citizens Bank is a financial institution that was established on May 13, 2005, under the name Citizens Bank, N.A. The bank underwent its first major transformation on September 1, 2007, when it changed its name to RBS Citizens, National Association, and simultaneously acquired several other banks, including Citizens Bank of Massachusetts in Boston, Citizens Bank of Rhode Island in Providence, Citizens Bank of New Hampshire in Manchester, Citizens Bank of Connecticut in New London, and Citizens Bank of Wilmington in Delaware, as well as Charter One Bank in Cleveland, Ohio, and RBS National Bank in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Following these acquisitions, the main office was relocated to One Citizens Plaza in Providence, Rhode Island. On April 16, 2014, the institution reverted to its original name, Citizens Bank, National Association. More recently, on January 2, 2019, Citizens Bank acquired Citizens Bank of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

I called your branch last week to make sure my checks were good so I can transfer 30,000 by check. Today I get a note from bank I wanted to deposit to, saying check is no good. I cannot get a CORRECT answer from anyone at your bank. In addition I have just been told my Visa card is no good, as your bank changed to Mastercard, because it is safer than visa, which I don't believe. Since we live in M... Read more
