Citibank suddenly put a freeze on my account. Supposedly, they straightened it out and said I had access to my money. They lied; they are thieves and don't care who they rip off. I still can't access my money, and there is nothing I can do. I am on SSI, and they don't care. They are committing fraud against their customers, and someone in that organization needs to be charged with a crime. I will be contacting the Arizona State Attorney General and filing a formal complaint against them, and I will go as high as I need to in order to be heard. They suck.
Oh my, I am having the same problem, can't access my money! No solution . No customer service. What to do??? How can these issues be resolved?
Opened account, funded account with my entire paycheck via mobile deposit, account put in hold until I receive a letter with a code to verify identity. Two months later they still have not entire check and there is nothing I can do about it. They stole my entire paycheck and have no solution to make it available to me. Worst experience with a bank ever.
i opened my account a week ago and transfered 250k to them, they have since locked my account and the funds are unavailable and they refuse to talk to me without the acct number that they have not provided and thye cant even answer the question of when and how am i going to receive thhis number, my 250k is missing and it has been a week and im stressed out, they suck, Im about to close all accounts with them.
I need a lawer to look over all this they did the same to me on christmas day.
I am thoroughly disappointed with Citibank. You can't speak to an English/American representative all of the reps speak with a deep Indian accent. Their webpage provided me with a pop-up to contact a customer service rep and I was routed to someone who identified themselves as an employee and after they were able to access my account it was hacked and $30,000 was stolen from my account by a bitcoin hacker. No one at Citibank has helped us or appears to care about our loss.
Citi totally sucks! I closed my savings account on 9/17/2020 and have yet to receive the money that was in the account. It was only a little over $500 but the point is, why haven't you sent the check? I have talked to 4 different reps and they all apologize profusely and say they will expedite the process, but another 2-weeks goes by and I still do not have my money. It's my money, not yours. I am betting that you are playing this game with thousands of customers and using their millions to invest and profit without paying out any interest. You should be ashamed of yourselves. Now I can't even get the chat app to communicate with me. Here is my case number. I want my money transferred to my bank. No more of this we will send you a check that never comes. Horrible, Horrible, Horrible. I went to this locaiton via google maps. It brings you to their day care center. Luckily there was a phone number on the door which I called and got directions to the actual branch location. When I got to the branch location, I was informed they were not conducting business because of COVID. Don't you think it would be nice to have the website updated so you would know not to waste your time driving there. I will be closing my account.

Citi bank is the worst bank i ever deal with. Am having a very horrible experience with them right now. I live in texas, a friend of mine in newyork talked me into opening account with them to help me with my customers living in newyork. I had no idea they do not have a branch in texas. Opening the account was smooth, money entering in the account was equally smooth, but when its time to take my money, the fraud department put my account on hold. I have been trying to speak with them for over a month now, each of the staff tells me a different story. They lie alot. Am scared of loosing my money to theses evil bank. Someone should help me
A week after opening a funding an account electronically, funds are still not "Available". Even worst, can't speak with customer service who transferred me to a non working number.
