Charter Bank was established on June 19, 1980, originally under the name Charter Bank Eau Claire. Over the years, the institution underwent several significant changes, including a rebranding to Charter Bank on October 1, 2015, coinciding with its acquisition of Community Bank Corporation located in Chaska, Minnesota.
