Champlain National Bank is a financial institution that was established on January 1, 1934, originally named The Lake Champlain National Bank of Westport. The bank underwent several name changes and relocations throughout its history. In 1959, it changed its name to Essex County-Champlain National Bank and moved its main office to Main Street in Willsboro, New York. Subsequently, the main office was relocated to Point Road in Willsboro on June 12, 1972. The institution continued to evolve, changing its name to Essex County-Champlain National Bank in 1986 before rebranding as Champlain National Bank on March 18, 1991. The bank's main office was then moved to Court and William Streets in Elizabethtown, New York, shortly after on March 1, 1991.
