History Of Centric Bank
Centric Bank was established on November 1, 1919, as The Dauphin National Bank. Over the years, it underwent several name changes, becoming Vartan National Bank on December 20, 1998, and later Centric Bank, National Association on March 7, 2007. On March 3, 2009, the institution rebranded as Centric Bank and became a state-chartered bank regulated by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), withdrawing from membership in the Federal Reserve System at that time. The bank's main office moved multiple times, with significant relocations occurring in 2004 to Vartan Way and in December 2008 to Linglestown Road in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. In a significant merger, Centric Bank became part of First Commonwealth Bank of Indiana, Pennsylvania, on February 1, 2023.
