On October 1, 2011, the bank expanded its operations by acquiring The Union Savings Bank, also located in Sedalia, Missouri. Additionally, on October 27, 1980, the main office of the bank was relocated to 301 West Broadway, Sedalia, Missouri. The Central Bank of Sedalia continued to operate until October 1, 2021, when it merged with The Central Trust Bank, based in Jefferson City, Missouri.
