CCF Bank, originally established as Citizens Community Federal on December 10, 2001, is a financial institution based in Altoona, Wisconsin. The bank underwent a significant reorganization on May 31, 2014, when it changed its name to Citizens Community Federal National Association and reclassified itself as a commercial national bank, becoming a member of the Federal Reserve System. Over the years, CCF Bank has expanded its operations through several acquisitions, including Community Plus Savings Bank in Rochester Hills, Michigan, on July 1, 2005; Community Bank of Northern Wisconsin in Rice Lake, Wisconsin, on May 16, 2016; Wells Federal Bank in Wells, Minnesota, on August 19, 2017; United Bank in Osseo, Wisconsin, on October 19, 2018; and Farmers & Merchants Bank in Tomah, Wisconsin, on July 1, 2019.
