CCB Community Bank is a financial institution based in Andalusia, Alabama. It was established on July 1, 1947, originally under the name Covington County Bank. The institution underwent several name changes over the decades, becoming Citibanc of Alabama in April 1977, SouthTrust Bank of Covington County in June 1984, and later changing its name to Covington County Bank on March 20, 1985. In April 1999, it became a member of the Federal Reserve System and changed its primary federal regulatory agency to the Federal Reserve. Following a period of transition, the bank moved its main office to 225 East Three Notch Street, Andalusia, Alabama, on March 9, 2005. The name CCB Community Bank was adopted on July 2, 2007. In a significant shift on January 1, 2014, the bank withdrew from membership in the Federal Reserve System, changed its primary federal regulatory agency to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, and reclassified as a state-chartered bank, no longer a member of the Federal Reserve System.
