History Of CBC Bank
CBC Bank, originally established in 1871 as Clifford Banking Company, underwent several name and location changes throughout its history. In 1970, the main office was relocated to 410 South Second Street in Clarksville, Missouri. Two decades later, in 1990, the bank's main office moved to the northeast corner of Business Loop 61 and 54 in Bowling Green, Missouri. In 2000, the institution officially changed its name to CBC Bank. The main office was subsequently moved again to 901 Business Highway 61 in Bowling Green, Missouri, on March 31, 2006, and later to 688 Salt Lick Road in Saint Peters, Missouri, on February 12, 2020. Ultimately, on December 12, 2020, CBC Bank merged with and became part of Peoples Savings Bank of Rhineland, Missouri.
