Cattlemens Bank is a financial institution originally established on January 1, 1910, under the name The First State Bank in Gould, Oklahoma. Over the years, the bank underwent several name changes and relocations. On April 19, 1990, the main office was moved to Main Street in Gould, Oklahoma. Subsequently, on March 18, 1998, the institution changed its name to Stockmans Bank. Later that year, on July 7, the main office was again relocated to 3421 North Main in Altus, Oklahoma. On October 5, 1979, the bank withdrew from membership in the Federal Reserve System.
