Cattle Bank and Trust, originally established as The Cattle National Bank of Seward on June 1, 1873, has undergone several name and structural changes throughout its history. On February 26, 1990, the main office was relocated to 104 South 5th, Seward, Nebraska. The institution adopted the name The Cattle National Bank and Trust Company on April 11, 2001, and subsequently expanded its services by obtaining full trust powers on October 15, 2001.
