History Of Castle Rock Bank
Castle Rock Bank was established on February 21, 1974, initially as Castle Rock Industrial Bank and was not federally insured at that time. The institution became a member of the Federal Reserve System and obtained Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) insurance on June 17, 1986. Following this, it relocated its main office to 25 South Wilcox Street in Castle Rock, Colorado, which was later moved to 501 Wilcox on November 1, 1992. On July 20, 1992, the bank changed its name to Castle Rock Bank and converted to a commercial bank. Over the years, Castle Rock Bank underwent several mergers, first merging with Guaranty Bank and Trust Company in Denver, Colorado, on October 28, 2017. It eventually merged with Independent Bank in McKinney, Texas, on January 1, 2019, becoming part of that financial institution.
