Initially known as Cashmere Valley Bank, the institution served the local community until it withdrew from membership in the Federal Reserve System on October 10, 1972. The bank relocated its main office to 117 Division Street in Cashmere, Washington, on February 9, 1978. In a strategic expansion move, Cashmere Valley Bank acquired Columbia Valley Bank located in East Wenatchee, Washington, on September 30, 1985.
