History Of Casey County Bank
Casey County Bank, originally established as The Casey County Bank on December 20, 1939, is a financial institution located in Liberty, Kentucky. In July 1972, the bank shortened its name to The Casey County Bank and subsequently underwent several changes in ownership and regulatory status. On August 4, 1981, the bank acquired full trust powers, and on July 16 of the same year, it adopted the name The Casey County Bank, Inc., Liberty, Kentucky. The main office was relocated to Main Street in Liberty on March 13, 1989. Following this move, the institution officially changed its name to The Casey County Bank, Inc. on the same day. The bank experienced a significant regulatory transition on November 2, 2009, when it changed its primary federal regulatory agency to the Federal Reserve and became a member of the Federal Reserve System as a state-chartered bank. On the same date, the bank moved its main office to 176 Wallace Wilkinson Boulevard in Liberty.
