Cape Cod Five Cents Savings Bank, established in its current form in 1981 when it adopted its present name and became insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), has undergone several organizational changes and relocations throughout its history. In 1996, the bank's main office was moved to Main Street in Harwich Port, Massachusetts. Subsequently, in 2004, it expanded its trust powers to full, and by March 2006, the main office relocated again, this time to 532 Main Street in Harwich Port.
