History Of Cache Valley Bank
Cache Valley Bank is a financial institution that was established on October 2, 1975, originally under the name North Park Bank of Commerce. The bank became a member of the Federal Reserve System on June 15, 1978, and subsequently changed its name to North Park Bank of Commerce on the same date. On September 28, 1983, the institution rebranded as Cache Valley Bank and relocated its main office to 360 North Main Street in Logan, Utah. The bank later moved its main office again to 101 North Main Street, Logan, Utah, on October 27, 1986. In 2011, Cache Valley Bank made several significant regulatory changes, including a withdrawal from membership in the Federal Reserve System and a transition to being a state-chartered bank regulated by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). Over the years, the bank has grown through a series of acquisitions, including SunFirst Bank and America West Bank in 2011 and 2009, respectively, both as part of government-assisted mergers.
