Byron State Bank

Byron State Bank was established on October 20, 1976. It initially operated under its founding name before undergoing changes in its location and ownership over the years. On May 16, 2008, the bank's main office was relocated to 115 Kansas Avenue in Byron, Nebraska. However, the bank's independent operations came to an end on July 1, 2017, when it merged with Western National Bank, based in Chester, Nebraska. This merger resulted in Byron State Bank becoming a part of the larger financial institution, thereby concluding its more than four-decade history as an independent bank.
