Bridge Community Bank is a financial institution that was established on September 8, 1903, originally under the name The Mechanicsville Trust and Savings Bank. Over the years, the bank underwent several name changes and relocations. On January 1, 1971, the institution changed its name to Mechanicsville Trust and Savings Bank, reflecting its roots in Mechanicsville, Iowa. The main office was moved to 200 South Cherry Street in Mechanicsville on December 17, 1979. In a significant rebranding effort, the bank changed its name to Bridge Community Bank on May 1, 1998.
