History Of Bremen Bank and Trust Company

Bremen Bank and Trust Company was established on January 1, 1868. It initially provided banking and trust services under its original name until it changed its trust powers to full trust powers on December 29, 1927. The institution withdrew from membership in the Federal Reserve System on April 23, 1971. In a significant operational change, the main office of Bremen Bank and Trust Company relocated to 700 James S. McDonnell Boulevard in Hazelwood, Missouri, on April 18, 2012. Ultimately, on July 16, 2016, Bremen Bank and Trust Company merged with Midwest BankCentre, based in Lemay, Missouri, concluding its independent operations.
