Bremen Bank and Trust Company was established on January 1, 1868. It initially provided banking and trust services under its original name until it changed its trust powers to full trust powers on December 29, 1927. Ultimately, on July 16, 2016, Bremen Bank and Trust Company merged with Midwest BankCentre, based in Lemay, Missouri, concluding its independent operations.
