Benchmark Bank is a financial institution established on August 29, 1964, originally under the name Quinlan State Bank. The bank has undergone several significant changes throughout its history, including multiple acquisitions and relocations of its main office. On January 7, 1988, the institution changed its name to Benchmark Bank and subsequently acquired several banks, including the Commerce Bank of Plano on January 7, 1988; Allen National Bank in Allen, Texas, on July 14, 1988; Citizens State Bank in Royse City, Texas, on March 29, 1996; and Lone Oak State Bank in Lone Oak, Texas, on June 8, 2001. The main office was relocated to various addresses, with the most recent move occurring on February 15, 2003, to 5700 Legacy Drive Suite 10 in Plano, Texas. As part of its regulatory framework, Benchmark Bank became a state-chartered bank and a member of the Federal Reserve System on August 29, 2024, marking a new phase in its operations. On the same date, it also changed its primary federal regulatory agency to the Federal Reserve.
