Bay Cities Bank
History Of Bay Cities Bank
Bay Cities Bank was established on November 10, 1999, and it initially operated under that name. Over the years, the bank expanded its operations and footprint in the state of Florida. On November 23, 2009, the main office was relocated to 4301 West Boy Scout Boulevard, Suite 150, in Tampa, Florida. In a significant development to enhance its stability and services, Bay Cities Bank acquired Progress Bank of Florida on October 22, 2010, as part of a government-assisted merger. This strategic move allowed the bank to strengthen its market presence. However, on October 1, 2015, Bay Cities Bank merged with Centennial Bank based in Conway, Arkansas, marking the end of its independent operations.
