Baraboo State Bank is a financial institution located in Baraboo, Wisconsin, with a history dating back to its establishment on July 1, 1857, originally as The Baraboo National Bank. Over the years, the bank underwent several changes and expansions through various acquisitions of other banks. Notably, on April 12, 1974, it acquired Farmers State Bank in Rock Springs and relocated its main office to 101 Third Avenue in Baraboo. The bank continued to grow in the following decades, acquiring several institutions including the State Bank of Wonewoc on December 9, 2002, Northwoods State Bank in Rhinelander on March 11, 2005, Green Lake State Bank in Green Lake on June 13, 2008, and The State Bank of Viroqua on March 7, 2009.
