History Of BankFinancial
BankFinancial, National Association, is a commercial bank headquartered in Olympia Fields, Illinois. Established on January 1, 1924, as Financial Federal Savings Bank of Olympia Fields, it underwent several name and organizational changes throughout its history. On June 30, 1987, it was renamed Financial Federal Trust and Savings Bank of Olympia Fields, later modified to Financial Federal Trust and Savings Bank on October 8, 1997. The institution transitioned to a stock savings bank on January 1, 1999, and was subsequently rebranded as BankFinancial, Federal Savings Bank on August 28, 2000. Significant acquisitions include University National Bank in Chicago, Illinois, on April 5, 2006, and Downers Grove National Bank in Westmont, Illinois, on March 19, 2011. In a pivotal transition on November 30, 2016, the bank changed its name to BankFinancial, National Association, shifted its organizational type to a commercial bank, updated its bank class to a national bank, and became a member of the Federal Reserve System. I would not bank here @ Bankfinancial flossmoor,. Tellers are the face of the bank. They make you feel welcomed and comfortable. Today That was not what I experienced at all.
