BankESB, originally established as Easthampton Savings Bank on February 10, 1869, is a financial institution that has undergone several name changes and regulatory adjustments throughout its history. The bank became FDIC insured on September 5, 1985, and modified its institution name to Easthampton Savings Bank again on July 2, 1973. On October 1, 2008, the organization type changed to a stock savings bank, and it adopted a new name, Easthampton Savings Bank.
