Bank & Trust Company is a financial institution that was established on September 1, 1902, originally named Litchfield Bank and Trust Company. Over the years, the bank underwent several significant changes. On February 4, 1969, it became a state-chartered bank and withdrew from membership in the Federal Reserve System, subsequently changing its primary federal regulatory agency to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). The institution adopted its current name, Bank & Trust Company, on August 29, 1985, following its acquisition of State Bank of Farmersville in Farmersville, Illinois, on August 9 of that same year. Continuing its expansion, Bank & Trust Company acquired Security National Bank in Witt, Illinois, on May 24, 2024.

I have a complaint. My husband was able to remove my name from all joint financial accounts without my knowledge or consent. I have spoken to an attorney and have been informed that this is illegal.
