Bank OZK, originally established as Newton County Bank on March 3, 1903, has undergone several transformations and expansions throughout its history. The institution changed its name to Bank of the Ozarks in 1999, marking a significant rebranding for the bank. Over the following years, Bank of the Ozarks pursued an aggressive growth strategy, acquiring several banks across various states, including River Valley Bank in Arkansas in 2003 and Sun Bank in Texas in 2004, among others. Teller's talk on the phone while a customer who comes inside the bank has to wait until the teller gets off the phone. There should always be a teller available for a customer who walks into the bank. I have not received my 1099I from them as of 2/17/2025. I shouldn't have to go to the bank to pick it up.
