Bank of the Plains is a financial institution that has a history dating back to its establishment on January 1, 1906, under the name The Plains State Bank. In 1970, the bank underwent significant changes, including a rebranding to The Plains State Bank and withdrawing from membership in the Federal Reserve System. The main office was relocated to 411 Grand Street in Plains, Kansas, on May 27, 1980.
