Bank of the Flint Hills is a financial institution established in 1875 under the original name First National Bank of Wamego. The bank underwent several changes over the years, notably moving its main office to 806 West Fifth Street, Wamego, Kansas, on April 10, 1972. In 2014, the institution rebranded itself as Bank of the Flint Hills and simultaneously changed its primary federal regulatory agency to the Federal Reserve, classifying itself as a state-chartered bank and a member of the Federal Reserve System.
