History Of Bank of Texas

Bank of Texas, National Association was established on July 16, 1984, under the name First National Bank of Park Cities. Over the years, the institution underwent several significant changes, including a name change in 1998 to Bank of Texas, National Association, following its acquisition of First Texas Bank in Dallas, Texas. In the same year, it expanded its operations by acquiring Canyon Creek National Bank in Richardson, Texas. On May 12, 2000, Bank of Texas merged with another entity and subsequently adopted the name Bank of Texas, National Association. The main office was relocated to 6215 Hillcrest Avenue in Dallas, Texas, on April 30, 1990. The bank continued to operate until January 1, 2011, when it merged with Bokf, National Association in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at which point it changed its name to Bokf, National Association.

I have been banking here since 1996 before it was Bank of Texas. The tellers are polite and generally provide quick service. However, I have had some issues with getting my adult daughter added as a signatory on my checking account.
