The Bank of Ringgold was established on January 4, 1904, in Ringgold, Louisiana, originally operating under that name. Over the years, the institution underwent several changes, including a relocation of its main office on June 16, 1980, to Mill Street in Ringgold, Louisiana. On March 31, 2006, the main office was again moved to a new location at 2369 Mill Street in Ringgold. The Bank of Ringgold's history took a significant turn when it merged with Bank of Montgomery in Montgomery, Louisiana, on January 1, 2016. Following this merger, the institution changed its name to Bom Bank on March 1, 2018.
