History Of Bank of Minden
The Bank of Minden was established on July 31, 1912, and initially served the community of Mindenmines, Missouri. Over the years, the bank underwent several relocations, with its main office moved to Main Street in Mindenmines on April 11, 1990, and later to a new location at 601 Main Street in the same city on October 2, 2006. In addition to its local operations, the Bank of Minden expanded its services through the acquisition of Farmers State Bank of Liberal, Missouri, on June 14, 1986. Ultimately, the Bank of Minden merged with Citizens Bank located in Butler, Missouri, on July 12, 2019, concluding its operations as an independent institution.
