History Of Bank of Little Rock
The Bank of Little Rock, established on October 21, 1927, originally operated under the name Hallmark Loan and Investment Company and was not insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) at its inception. On December 21, 1987, the institution changed its name to Hallmark Loan and Investment Corporation and became FDIC insured. The bank further restructured on June 16, 1989, when it adopted the name Bank of Little Rock and transitioned to a commercial bank organization type. On July 30, 1999, the institution changed its primary federal regulatory agency to the Federal Reserve and became a member of the Federal Reserve System. The main office was first relocated to 200 North State Street, Little Rock, Arkansas 72217 on May 27, 1997, and then again to its current address at 200 North State Street, Little Rock, Arkansas 72201 on June 30, 2002.
