History Of Bank of Labor
The Bank of Labor is a financial institution that was originally established on September 2, 1924, under the name The Brotherhood State Bank. Throughout its history, the institution underwent several name changes and expansions. On January 31, 1979, it rebranded as The Brotherhood Bank and Trust Company. In 2007, the bank changed its name to Brotherhood Bank & Trust and subsequently acquired Citizens Bank & Trust in Shawnee, Kansas, on September 3 of the same year, followed by the acquisition of Park Bank in Parkville, Missouri, on November 17, 2007. The bank rebranded again to its current name, Bank of Labor, on October 14, 2013. It further expanded its operations by acquiring Sun Savings Association, F.A., in Kansas City, Kansas, on May 11, 1990, and Indian Springs State Bank in Kansas City, Kansas, on January 28, 1984. Went this bank to deposit a large amount check. Had a hard time doing this. Even those I have 2 bank account there. They was not giving me a reason what the problem was, after being there for a half hour of waiting. They finally took and deposited the check.... Read more
