The Bank of Guam is a financial institution that was established on December 11, 1972, in Hagatna, Guam, initially operating under the same name. In its early years, the bank's main office was located at Cliff Road and West Street in Hagatna. The institution underwent a significant name change to Bank of Guam on May 29, 1975. A review of its operations led to a transition from limited trust powers to full trust powers on September 27, 1985; prior to that, the trust powers had been limited beginning August 21, 1984. The bank's main office was relocated to a new address at Cliff Road and West Street on the same date. Finally, on September 1, 1994, the main office moved again to 111 W Chalan Santo Papa, Hagatna, Guam 96910, where it continues to operate today.
