History Of Bank of Cushing
The Bank of Cushing was established on January 1, 1897, originally named The Farmers National Bank of Cushing. Over the years, the institution underwent several name changes and structural updates. It changed its name to Bank of Cushing on August 8, 1980, at which time it also changed its chartering agency to state and obtained full trust powers. In 1982, the bank officially became known as Bank of Cushing and Trust Company. On August 2, 2011, it reverted to the name Bank of Cushing. The bank remained operational until it merged with Blue Sky Bank, located in Pawhuska, Oklahoma, on February 15, 2020.
