The Bank of Cadiz, originally established as the Bank of Cadiz on August 7, 1970, has undergone several significant changes throughout its history. In 1978, the institution expanded its services by obtaining full trust powers on November 11, and subsequently changed its name to the Bank of Cadiz and Trust Company on June 21, 1982. The bank transitioned to becoming a state-chartered institution and a member of the Federal Reserve System on December 2, 2013.
