On May 14, 2010, the bank acquired New Liberty Bank in Plymouth, Michigan, as part of a government-assisted merger. The bank changed its trust powers to full status on April 4, 1997. In January 2017, it further expanded by acquiring the Bank of Birmingham in Birmingham, Michigan. I am Mrs. Douglas Young (Pam). My complaint is Fowlerville's branch hours have been cut drastically since Ann Arbor bank bought them. It is very inconvenient, especially Saturday morning! It appears that this branch is heading for extinction which is sad. I have banked in this location for 27 years and a total of 47 years with First National.
