The Bank of Albuquerque was established on December 3, 1998, initially operating under the name Bank of Albuquerque, National Association. On December 4, 1998, the institution expanded its capabilities by changing its trust powers to full. On January 1, 2011, Bank of Albuquerque merged with and became part of Bokf, National Association, which is based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Following the merger, the institution officially changed its name to Bokf, National Association on the same date.

Used to be a good bank with its service. Very nice tellers, and managers. But like everybody else, its has closed many of their branch locations and are closed on saturdays, holidays and sundays.
