History Of Bank Midwest
Bank Midwest, National Association was established on December 10, 2010. Initially located in Greeley, Colorado, the institution underwent several significant changes and acquisitions over the years. In 2011, it acquired Bank of Choice in Greeley, Colorado, and Community Banks of Colorado in Greenwood Village, Colorado, both as part of government-assisted mergers. The acquisition of Hillcrest Bank, National Association in Overland Park, Kansas, followed in November of the same year. In January 2012, the bank relocated its main office to Kansas City, Missouri, and officially changed its name to NBH Bank, National Association. Subsequent acquisitions included Pine River Valley Bank in Bayfield, Colorado, in August 2015, and both Peoples Bank in Lawrence, Kansas, and Peoples National Bank in Colorado Springs, Colorado, on January 1, 2018. In 2016, the bank's main office was moved to Greenwood Village, Colorado, and it underwent additional changes to its regulatory status and name to simply NBH Bank. Most recently, on September 1, 2022, Bank Midwest acquired Rock Canyon Bank in Provo, Utah.
