History Of Bank Iowa
Bank Iowa, originally established as Citizens State Bank on March 7, 1923, serves as a financial institution in the state of Iowa. Over the years, it has undergone several changes, including a significant rebranding to Bank Iowa on September 1, 2003. The institution transitioned to a state-chartered bank and became a member of the Federal Reserve System on June 25, 1998, after changing its regulatory agency from the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). In 1978, it withdrew from the Federal Reserve membership before rejoining in 1941. Bank Iowa expanded through a series of acquisitions, notably in 2011 when it acquired multiple locations across Iowa, including branches in Altoona, Humboldt, Oskaloosa, New Hampton, Red Oak, and Denison. In recent years, Bank Iowa has continued to grow, acquiring First State Bank of Colfax on December 2, 2019, and relocating its main office several times, most recently to 1225 Jordan Creek Parkway, Suite 200, in West Des Moines on July 1, 2019, prior to which it was situated at 1150 Jordan Creek Parkway.

I totally agree with Sonya Smiths comment. It takes for ever to log in, if it isn't broken, don't fix it. Please please go back to the old way. The bank and its personel are awesome, the web page to log in sucks big time.... Read more
Very unhappy with changing the process of logging into my account. I have TERRIBLE time accessing my account. I have had others try to log in for me and it might take 8 to 10 times to access. Never had any problems before you "fixed" something that didn't need fixing.... Read more
