Bank 7, originally established as The First National Bank of Medford on May 6, 1901, underwent significant transformations throughout its history. The bank changed its name to Bank 7 on September 28, 2004, at which point it also adjusted its regulatory status, becoming a state-chartered bank and a member of the Federal Reserve System. On December 31, 2007, the main office was relocated to 1039 Northwest 63rd Street in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The bank continued its expansion by acquiring several institutions, including The First State Bank in Camargo, Oklahoma, on January 28, 2011, followed by The Montezuma State Bank in Montezuma, Kansas, on March 7, 2014. Most recently, on December 10, 2021, Bank 7 acquired Cornerstone Bank in Watonga, Oklahoma.
