Atlantic Union Bank is a financial institution based in Virginia, originally established on November 4, 1997, under the name First Market Bank, Federal Savings Bank, with its main office located in Memphis, Tennessee. Over time, the bank underwent several name changes and relocations; it adopted the name First Market Bank on February 1, 2010, and subsequently transformed into a commercial bank and member of the Federal Reserve System. The bank continued to evolve as it acquired several other institutions, including Union Bank and Trust Company in Bowling Green, Virginia, and Northern Neck State Bank and The Rappahannock National Bank of Washington, both in 2010. In 2015, the bank rebranded as Union Bank & Trust and then changed its name to Atlantic Union Bank on May 20, 2019. Further acquisitions included StellarOne Bank in May 2014, Xenith Bank in January 2018, and Access National Bank in February 2019. Although I have asked your bank to stop payment, it appears that they did not. The first unauthorized transaction October 18 2023, by check number 5270, and the amount is for $1869.43, we did not authorize this transaction and the transaction was done by a check (which we NEVER use), which we can not review as other banks allow, this check, who wrote it and what was this check for.
