Astra Bank is a financial institution established on October 2, 1939, originally named Scandia State Bank, located in Scandia, Kansas. Throughout its history, the bank has undergone several significant changes and acquisitions. In 1989, the main office was relocated to 323 4th Street in Scandia, where it continues to operate. On June 19, 2007, the institution changed its name to Astra Bank and further expanded its operations by acquiring First National Bank in Belleville, Kansas, on the same day. The bank continued its growth by acquiring Sutton State Bank in Sutton, Nebraska, on July 1, 2009, and First National Bank in Hays, Kansas, on January 9, 2013. Most recently, on March 6, 2017, Astra Bank acquired Midwest Community Bank located in Plainville, Kansas.

It would be very very helpful if your bank posted its Holiday hours anywhere, for example, on your website or in a voice recording on your main telephone line. I could not find these hours listed or provided anywhere, and unfortunately you closed at noon today and I am not able to deposit my check and my account is overdrawn.... Read more
