Astoria Bank

Astoria Bank, originally established as Astoria Federal Savings and Loan Association in 1888, has a rich history of growth and transformation within the banking industry. Over the years, it underwent several significant changes, including its organizational type and name. In 1990, the bank acquired Whitestone Federal Savings and Loan Association, followed by additional acquisitions including Fidelity New York FSB in 1995 and The Greater New York Savings Bank in 1997.
