Associated Bank Ratings

Bad experience. They talked me into switching to a specialty checking account and then charged me $25 a month fee! And since I didn't get a monthly paper statement I didn't know about it! Long story short it will cost you money for them to hold your own money. I do not recommend this bank and for sure this branch.

Lost my Debit card. Called and they said it would ber 14-21 days to get the card or I could come in. I chose to wait.

14 days later I got an email that said it would be 21 days before I would get it. I went to the Mukwonago branch to get new card. I was told I had to talk to a personal banker. The teller who was 20 feet from the banker used the computer and was told she had an appointment at 9:00. No one was in the offic but me so the appointment was late to start with. I was told I could make an appointment or wait for 30 minutes +. When I walked away the banker asked if she could help. I told her all I needed was a new debit card. She said it would take 15 minutes. Well it was already 9:05 and the other people had not showed up. If they would have started my card as soon as I got in I'm sure I would have been done before the other people arrived. They were keeping the banker waiting anyway.

I can go to my other bank Pyramx and get a replacement card in 5 minutes from the teller. Then calling the customer service number I got a recording thay they could not accept calls at this time.

This branch debit card machine is down and i cannot get reissue of my card. I had an appointment on Tuesday to have a new one issued at this branch and sign paperwork on a transaction. The lame CRM comes out and tell me he has been so busy and should have called me to cancel the visit. This information is after taking a Lyft to the location.. This location is lame and I'm really annoyed as I as told the debit machine would be fixed by Friday. It's Friday and I called and it is still not repaired. This is a reflection of how they treat African American communities. Not happy with Associated Banki at all.

Very poor customer service in Chippewa Falls. Rude. Unhelpful. Asked over and over for account information on the phone when I asked a question about helping with canceling an online transaction. Spoke to me as if I were a toddler. Did not help with the problem, and finally the person on the other end just hung up. Will change banks because of the service I did not recieve and the way I was treated at Asssociated Bank in Chippewa Falls, WI.

Don't expect great customer service at this location. Even if you have several accounts and have banked with Associated for years they don't know you! They are rude and not helpful here. Pick a different location!
