Ashton State Bank

Ashton State Bank was established on December 2, 1908, initially founded under the name Ashton State Bank. Over the years, the bank underwent several significant changes in its operations and locations. On April 18, 1990, the main office of Ashton State Bank was relocated to Main Street in Ashton, Nebraska. The bank moved again on October 27, 2005, to a new main office at 295 Center Avenue, also in Ashton, Nebraska. Ultimately, on October 25, 2022, Ashton State Bank merged with and became part of Cornerstone Bank, headquartered in York, Nebraska.
