Androscoggin Bank, originally established as Androscoggin County Savings Bank in 1870, has undergone several significant changes throughout its history. In 1971, the institution changed its name to Androscoggin County Savings Bank before adopting the name Androscoggin Savings Bank in 1974. The main office relocated to 30 Lisbon Street in Lewiston, Maine, on April 22, 1975, and again on October 1, 1977, to the same address. In 1993, the bank expanded its services by acquiring full trust powers.
