American Savings Bank was established on January 23, 1987, under the original name American Savings Bank, Fsb. The bank has undergone several changes and relocations since its inception, with its main office moving multiple times within Honolulu, Hawaii. Notably, on August 31, 1988, it moved to 915 Fort Street Mall, followed by a relocation to 1001 Bishop Street on August 18, 2003. Further moves occurred on November 30, 2009, when the main office was situated on the 25th floor of the same building, and then on March 31, 2010, it relocated to Suite 100 of 1001 Bishop Street. Most recently, on April 30, 2019, the bank's main office was moved to 300 North Beretania Street, Honolulu, Hawaii 96817.
