American Nation Bank is a financial institution that was established on May 2, 1983, under the original name of American National Bank. The bank moved its main office to 1901 North Commerce in Ardmore, Oklahoma, on January 26, 1987. Over the years, it expanded its presence through acquisitions, notably acquiring The Security State Bank in Comanche, Oklahoma, on September 22, 1988, and The Bank of Wilson in Wilson, Oklahoma, on July 26, 1990. On April 1, 2010, American Nation Bank further broadened its scope by acquiring American Bank, National Association in Keller, Texas.
